Zoe joined the practice in September 2021 having worked in Primary Care for 17 years. The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
The Quality Manager works with the Practice Manager. The main responsibilities of the Quality Manager are Health and Safety, Policies and Protocols and the governance of the surgery.
Rachel Davies is the Local Health Board Pharmacist. Rachel attends the practice for one day a week.
Manon Pierce and Rhian Dolben are attached to the practice. If you need to speak to a midwife urgently please contact us at the surgery.
The Community Nursing Team can be contacted on 03000 850025 They are based at Ruthin Community Hospital.
Gill Davies and Eurian Mitchelmore are our health visitors and Iona Griffiths is our health care support worker, Gwennan Jones is our community nursery nurse and have a special interest in family welfare. Our child surveillance clinic is held on Thursday afternoons. The health visitors can be contacted on 01824 703641. Deborah Davies is the School Nurse and can be contacted on 01824 707489.
Hayley Lowe is a specially trained nurse who works for the Macmillan Service. The service provides physical and psychological support aimed at improving the overall quality of life for patients with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. She can be contacted via Glan Clwyd Hospital, telephone 01745 448720 Ext 7690.
