Covid Vaccine Update

Please be advised that we have been instructed to stop booking Covid vaccinations clinics by our health board today, we have NOT been told to cancel any vaccinations already booked therefore as it stands based on the information I have - those booked in will still be vaccinated. So far we have booked 250 patients in for vaccinations for next week.
Once we have the go ahead to book vaccinations again I will update you on here and on our website, we will be in touch with patients as soon as we have further news.
Thank you

We are pleased to advise we have been allocated a further supply of Covid Vaccinations which we will order on Monday 18th January, we have been allocated 400 vaccines.
We are under strict instructions to vaccinate patients as per UK legislation, in line with this, those patients over the age of 80 will continue to be prioritised for vaccination.
We don't have enough vaccinations at present to vaccinate all of our patients aged 80 and over as there are over 700 in that cohort however we will be able to vaccinate the majority of those aged 80 and over before the end of this month. We have already vaccinated 100 patients aged 90 or over.
We expect further supplies week commencing 25th January 2021 however we do not have confirmation of this supply as yet, when we do we will update you further.
We received the information about our new allocation late yesterday, we have already arranged staffing of this mass vaccination clinic and will begin recalling patients today.
I'm sure you will agree that this is exciting news for our community!
Thank you
