If you are experiencing domestic abuse there are many support services available to you:
Domestic Abuse Safety Unit covers the Ruthin area. Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexuality or background. Whatever your situation, their team will listen and work with you to provide support, information, and advice. They can support you out of an abusive environment, they will always put your wishes and safety first. - call them on 01745 814494 or through the helpline 0808 810 800
Call North Wales Police on 101 if you need support or advice from officers if it is not an emergency. If you are in immediate danger call 999.
Wales Live Fear Free Domestic Abuse Helpline 0808 8010 800 24hrs a day 7 days a week 365 days a year.
Women’s Aid Domestic Violence is a free 24-hour national helpline run by Women’s Aid and Refuge in England. Call 0808 2000 247.
Men’s Advice Line is a confidential helpline for male victims of domestic violence and abuse. Call 0808 801 0327.
National Centre for Domestic Violence is on organisation that specialises in providing you with assistance to obtain emergency injunctions from being further abused. Call 0800 970 2070.
Victim Support is a charity giving free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family and friends. Call 0808 1689 111.

Experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression or stress

EPP Cymru (Education Programmes for Patients) provide and deliver a range of free health and wellbeing courses aimed at adults who are living with or caring for someone with a long term health condition(s).
EPP Cymru courses will help you to:
Recognise and manage symptoms
Develop more effective relationships with those supporting you
Work in partnership with healthcare staff
Develop new skills and knowledge to improve your quality of life
The courses are run by trained tutors with personal experience of a health condition or a caring role. The programmes are scripted and frequent assessments ensure consistent quality in delivery.

🌼Diabetes Self Management - for people living with type 2 diabetes.
🌼Living with Shortness of Breath - for people living with or caring for someone with a respiratory or lung condition.
🌼Cancer: Thriving and Surviving - for people who have survived cancer or have been affected by someone else's cancer.
🌼Chronic Pain Management - for anyone living with chronic pain.
🌼Caring for Me and You - for anyone who is an unpaid carer for someone who lives with a long term health condition or disability.
🌼Long Covid Self Management - for anyone living with Long Covid.
🌼Living Well while Working - for anyone living with any long term health condition(s) and in work.
Participants have the opportunity to achieve learning credits with Agored Cymru for undertaking the 6 week EPP Cymru community course if they wish.
